Degree in education or related field; Master's degree preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate or other appropriate license or certification Special Knowledge and Skills
Ability to plan, implement and follow up on staff development and to provide coordinated assistance in the assigned area Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Advanced knowledge in the assigned area Major Responsibilities and Duties
Manage and provide leadership to personnel assigned to programs or projects for which the consultant is responsible. Assume responsibility for the success of programs and services assigned through attainment of appropriate outcomes. Assist in appropriate use of fiscal and facility resources to support program goals and activities Specific Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and/or conduct professional development in elementary mathematics, with focus on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) alignment, and curriculum (TCMPC and Bluebonnet Learning). Interpret policies, procedures and data to LEAs and center staff. Implement programs and updates as mandated by TEA. Provide on-site coordinated assistance and follow-up in the area of Content Area Mathematics Salary
