Responsible for the sale and service of ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch. Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG’s overall insurance book of business. Effectively overcome objections to close the sale and/or retain the insured. Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan and goals assigned by leadership. Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products. Use underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend products, quote, bind and issue policies. Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks. Build rapport to establish customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to the AAA brand. Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance, membership, and financial products. Refer Members to other applicable lines of business (e.g., Travel & Financial Services) as appropriate. Minimum Education and Work Experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated environment (e.g., financial/banking) Strong sales skills with ability to develop, track, follow up on, and close leads Consultative selling techniques with thorough product knowledge Strong prospecting and communication skills; customer-focused Knowledge of desktop systems including CRM and Microsoft Office Ambition, motivation, and drive Licenses and Certifications
Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license Active State Life Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling and servicing Auto Club Group Membership products; obtain Health and Accident licenses as needed Work Environment
Works in a temperature-controlled branch location Ability to work irregular hours with possible weekend work May travel to local branch events Location
