More About The Role: Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Client Service Representative (CSR) provides an exceptional client experience during every interaction. The CSR performs practice administrative tasks such as record maintenance and appointment tracking, manages reception, maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts maintenance, cash processing, data entry, word processing, and mail services. The CSR applies knowledge of practice processes and veterinary record requirements to ensure every patient is well-cared for and every client has an exceptional experience. Responsibilities
Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures. Ensures all public areas are clean and presentable; maintains front desk, reception area, waiting area, office, public bathrooms, and exam rooms. Processes cash, checks, credit cards, and credit account payments. Schedules appointments adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensures appropriate workflow. Updates client/patient files as needed and prepares/sends client correspondence. Sends reminder notices and conducts timely re-calls from a callback list. Performs regular backups of the computer system as directed. Performs daily posting of business activities. Welcomes clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor to ensure an excellent experience during visits. Answers incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette. Provides medications, instructions, and take-home items as appropriate. Handles emergency situations with care and in accordance with clinic policies and procedures. Addresses client concerns calmly to ensure a satisfactory experience. Requirements/Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Previous veterinary experience preferred Client satisfaction references preferred Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE Benefits
