Overview

The Early Intervention Account Manager (EIAM) is responsible for the positioning and selling of Zilretta solutions to Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Primary Care Offices. This includes pharmacological and technical knowledge (Package Insert & functions, benefits) and sales of the Zilretta value proposition. The EIAM will collaborate with the Regional Business Director to develop a business plan to exceed defined sales revenues for the territory. The EIAM will utilize product knowledge, relationships, and business acumen to execute strategies that meet and exceed sales objectives of Zilretta. Responsibilities

Identify target markets in accordance with organizational strategy using familiarity with customer operations and available reporting tools. Exceed corporate revenue objectives within the assigned geography. Collaborate with surgeons, sports medicine physicians, primary care providers, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and health care staff to ensure Zilretta adoption in accounts and territory. Educate on reimbursement strategies that adhere to Pacira guidelines and compliance. Recruit customers to incorporate Surgeon Selector into their practice. Utilize CRM for account planning, forecasting, and data analysis. Develop and maintain expertise on Zilretta. Manage time effectively to increase sales productivity and execute strategic sales activities. Participate with the Regional Business Director in strategic and tactical planning. Update and document sales account information via CRM. Demonstrate knowledge of the conversion process within accounts. Develop and execute sales and retention strategies for target markets and customers. Engage C-Suite level office customers with value proposition strategies to ensure long-term access to Zilretta. Conduct face-to-face meetings with physicians, schedulers, practice managers, and medical staff to close business and identify obstacles. Educate on services offered and keep up-to-date with latest clinical data, presenting to health care professionals. Partner with EXPAREL Account Managers for synergistic opportunities. Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Minimum 3 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professional offices in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or health care industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent written and oral English communication skills; strong presentation abilities. Timely and accurate completion of hospital credentialing requirements to gain facility access. Experience in an account-based sales environment with orthopedic practices is preferred. Understanding of reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, and buy-and-bill is preferred. Prior experience in orthopedic or related medical practices is preferred (e.g., HA products). Knowledge of industry drivers, medical trends, and performance metrics; ability to inform strategy. Strong communication, interpersonal, collaborative, and analytical skills with a customer focus. Ability to identify decision-makers, navigate practice dynamics, and maximize impact. Established network of clinical contacts is desirable; self-motivated with a drive to improve knowledge and skills. Sales competencies: goal setting, prospecting, networking, territory management, time management, account management, value propositioning, handling objections, and closing. Proficiency with MS Office, mobile tech, and web-based applications. Proven ability to work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and hospital pharmacies in the territory. Willingness and ability to travel; valid driver's license; reliable transportation. Must reside in the designated geographic territory; overnight travel up to 90% of the time may be required. Physical Demands

The employee must travel by automobile, air, and other transportation. The role may require standing or sitting for long periods and moving quickly in operating room and healthcare environments. Work Environment

The work setting is a typical corporate environment with offices, healthcare facilities (Hospitals, Medical Centers, Ambulatory Care Centers), and attendance at conferences and professional meetings. Travel to B2B accounts is expected. Benefits

The range reflects geographic and organizational considerations, experience, and qualifications.
