Goodwill is seeking a

Retail Associate (College Dr.)

to manage day‑to‑day store operations. This entry level position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities

Operate cash register, receive payments, and record sales transactions. Sort, hang, and price at least 125 garments per hour in the production backroom. Transfer merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor and rotate store merchandise as directed. Place garments, housewares, and other items on floor racks and shelves; restock as needed. Assist customers with general information and issue receipts for donated goods. Maintain a clean, hazard‑free store by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms. Dispose of trash and unusable merchandise; break down cardboard boxes and place them in the recycling container. Stay aware of customer activities and report suspicious activity or theft to store management. Follow company policies and safety procedures; attend scheduled training. Skills and Abilities

Interact cordially with a variety of people and explain Goodwill’s mission. Establish effective working relationships with store personnel and motivate team performance. Read, write, and communicate clearly in English. Work a flexible schedule on short notice, including days, nights, and weekends. Lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Use repetitive hand movements when buttoning, sorting, hanging, and zipping garments. Engage in prolonged standing, walking, and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Maintain vision correct to within normal limits. Function in a hectic work environment. Have knowledge of men, women, and children clothing as well as furniture and household items. Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred; high school education not required. Prior service industry experience preferred; not required. Successfully complete Retail training. Working Conditions

Considerable physical exertion; exposure to unfit donated goods and materials. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation station with no prior notice.
