We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.
Commercial Sales
Bring your experience and ideas to help us introduce new aviators to the thrill of owning and operating a world-class rotorcraft. You’ll work with a world-class sales team to demonstrate how vertical lift can change lives for the better and make rotorcraft ownership a reality. This role will be integral to the team, working closely with current and future customers. You’ll hone your sales and technical skills, gaining valuable experience in direct sales.
What you’ll be doing as a 505 Sales Manager
Develop 505 sales opportunities and convert them into firm orders and deliveries.
Manage 505 sales accounts within your assigned region.
Contribute to 505 marketing strategy and implement sales and marketing initiatives, including developing industrial relationships, gathering and reporting market intelligence and customer feedback, and collaborating on product and business roadmap development.
Interact with existing Bell 505 customers, maintenance facilities, and training facilities in your region.
Lead collaboration on proposal responses within the Bell team.
Manage business conduct, travel expenses, budgets, and use of corporate credit cards responsibly.
Skills You Bring To this Role
Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across geographically distributed teams.
Ability to persuade customers to purchase assets valued at over $2 million.
Prior sales experience with luxury items valued over $2 million is preferred.
Experience with Bell products is preferred.
What you need to be successful
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the aviation industry or in a sales-related role.
Prior technical rotorcraft industry or marketing experience is preferred.
Current helicopter pilot license, aerospace engineering, or aircraft maintenance experience is preferred.
Legal ability to conduct business in all states within your assigned region, or ability to obtain it.
Ability to travel within your region.
