Days, Monday-Friday Qualifications
Education: BS: Physician Assistant (Required) Licenses / Certifications: PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA); RPA - Registered Physician Assistant (NYSED) Experience: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least three (3) years of experience required Management: At least six (6) months of management experience preferred Responsibilities
Patient Care: Address acute illness and injury; take medical histories and perform physical examinations; order and interpret diagnostic studies; prescribe medications; write orders; document in medical records; monitor treatment effects; perform minor procedures and annual screening; update medical records as needed Leadership: Train students and educate other Advanced Practice Providers; attend Dyad monthly meetings; input payroll for the department; complete Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) Administrative Support: Complete insurance and medical discharge documentation; provide guidance to ancillary personnel and counsel family members; prepare daily billing sheets and complete chart entries on patient interaction Education

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. Additional Program Requirements
