AAA Northeast . AAA Northeast is looking for an energetic and motivated Travel Advisor to join our travel team. AAA has been helping and serving its members for more than a century on the road and beyond. Core Hours: Friday 11:30am - 8pm, Saturday 8:00am - 6:30pm, Sunday 8:00am - 6:30pm, Monday 11:30am - 8pm. What You Will Do
Sell appropriate travel products based on personal knowledge and industry trends; qualify clients to determine needs and preferences. Offer a range of travel products and services including tours, cruises, airline tickets, car rentals, hotels, rail, and travel insurance. Promote Club-owned and preferred partners including ancillary products. Complete sales process through receipt of payments, maintain client files, and contact clients before and after trips. Proactively grow the client base and work with current clients and local community to increase sales. Deliver Five Diamond Service and Service Excellence in travel and branch operations; build relationships with clients to engender loyalty to Club products and services. Make decisions and resolve problems using AAA policies and resources to provide positive alternatives for resolving conflicts. Deepen knowledge of travel products and services; stay informed of destinations; participate in Club sales and product training; understand industry regulations and restrictions. Complete Travel Partner training programs and earn necessary certifications. Act as Brand Ambassador by using community and social networks to grow business. Process all travel reservation activity through appropriate systems; follow department, ARC, WISP, and other regulatory procedures. Inform manager of glitches or inconsistencies in systems. Cross-sell other Club products and services and collaborate with departments to support member needs. Nurture online sales leads for MVP/Digital Leads: identify prospective clients’ needs, respond to inquiries, follow up regularly, and document quotes and contact efforts in the Club’s CRM system. Handle Live Support Chat inquiries and communicate effectively with clients via phone, chat, videoconference, and/or email. Assist with incoming Travel Center calls as needed. Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the travel industry required.
