The Sanitation Lead is responsible for providing oversight of the sanitation team for their specific shift for the cleaning and sanitizing of food assembly and storage areas and non-food handling areas (i.e. break rooms, locker rooms). Detailed Responsibilities Executes Sanitation Plan Responsible for assigning tasks to Sanitation & Janitorial team to complete required tasks Verifies equipment and/or chemicals are being used appropriately Observes for unsanitary practices and conditions to make necessary improvements Monitors sanitation team for usage of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Supports Core Sanitation Activities Demonstrates mastery of all core Sanitation & Janitorial Associate responsibilities Responsible for accurately documenting master sanitation activity completion for their shift in the appropriate application Training, Retraining, and Coaching Sanitation/Janitorial Associates Serves as point of contact for all Home Chef Sanitation Tools & Applications, trains Sanitation & Janitorial Associates on access and usage Delivers training, retraining and coaching in real time to Sanitation & Janitorial Associates to correctly perform their job as necessary, including safety policies Promptly notifies Sanitation Supervisor, Sanitation Superintendent and/or FSQA Leadership when sanitation issues arise Maintain working knowledge of chemical inventory levels, escalating to Sanitation Supervisor or Sanitation Superintendent when inventory levels are low General Responsibilities Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs Follow all company policies and procedures including but not limited to related to safe chemical handling and lock out, tag out (LOTO) Attitude and Attendance Arrives to work at scheduled time and follows time off request procedure Communicates with co-workers in a professional manner Treats co-workers with respect at all times Escalates attitude issues among Sanitation & Janitorial Associates to Supervisor and/or Sanitation Superintendent We are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals. Qualifications

General high school degree, or equivalent, (e.g. GED). Fluency (reading and writing) in English is required, fluent in Spanish is preferred 2+ years of experience working in the food, safety or sanitation industry Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Must have floor presence and be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours Demonstrated informal leadership in previous positions Demonstrated ability to read a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), preferred Experience with sanitation of automated equipment, preferred Previous experience with GFSI, SQF, FDA, and USDA audits, preferred
