Our Tempo menu includes options that are protein-packed, fiber-rich, calorie and carb conscious, keto-friendly, and dietitian-approved. Quality Control Leads are hired into one of the schedules. Actual schedules available may vary based on site needs at the time. We offer multiple shift options with varying start times and days off. Fulfills all responsibilities of a QC Tech, provides on-the-floor coaching for new and less experienced associates, and performs other duties such as packing, managing donations, and setting up, breaking down, and maintaining portioning equipment. QC Leads may assume additional responsibilities delivering training to QC Techs. Perform Start-of-Shift and Product Changeover Activities: verify equipment and/or tables are set up correctly; verify correct ingredient(s) are portioned or meals being bagged/kitted; ensure all scales are verified prior to use; verify correct tool/utensil is used for portioning activity. Supports Core QC Activities: demonstrate mastery of core QC Tech responsibilities including labeling, portioning, meal bagging, shipping line, and final box verifications; follow Receiving and Outbound Transfer processes; escalate quality issues to FSQA Supervisor and/or FSQA leadership when product is outside specification. Document verification activities accurately in the appropriate application. Detailed Ingredient Inspection: conduct off-the-line checks on ingredient quality as directed by FSQA leadership. Performs Temperature Checks: conduct temperature checks for every cooler and freezer each shift and document results; escalate issues when temperatures are high. Training, Retraining, and Coaching QC Techs: serve as point of contact for FSQA Tools & Applications; train QC Techs on access and usage; deliver on-the-floor coaching as necessary. Issue Escalation: promptly notify FSQA leadership when food safety or quality issues arise (e.g., produce quality, portioning quantity, missing ingredients). Attitude and Attendance: arrive on time, follow time off procedures, communicate professionally, treat colleagues with respect, escalate attitude issues as needed. General Responsibilities: follow facility GMPs and help enforce them; support food safety SQF and quality programs; this position requires 0% travel. Qualifications
