Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; mentors, trains and assigns tasks of other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities in the absence of Senior Technicians and/or Supervisors. Completes basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing system jams; shift inspections, cleaning, and/or electrical and mechanical adjustments. Diagnoses equipment failures under the guidance of senior personnel; ensures equipment runs safely. Takes direction and seeks guidance from senior personnel; accepts training and mentoring. Provides direction and mentoring to personnel assisting in maintenance and repair; may act as lead in the absence of Senior Technicians and/or Supervisors. Reads and interprets repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor/manager instructions. Works in tight and/or high spaces using appropriate PPE and fall protection equipment. Follows all company and federal policies and completes required training. Completes work assignment forms according to established procedures and performs additional duties as required by management. Assists with basic maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning and greasing; completes safety training as assigned. Complies with ELS safety programs, policies and procedures. Minimum requirements: High School/GED; minimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience; ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays. Minimum Qualifications

Previous work experience in an Airport environment Experience on conveyors and/or passenger boarding bridges Ability to read blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings Basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in an industrial environment HVAC, welding/brazing, and/or plumbing knowledge Minimum 2 years of basic electrical and/or electronic systems work experience 3+ years industrial mechanical and/or electrical background Minimum 1 year experience with PLC logic and/or Industrial HVAC certification Advanced computer skills Additional Skills and Knowledge

The physical demands vary by day and may include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive motions as required by tasks. Work Environment
