Our Lamar office in Buffalo, New York, is now hiring a new Account Executive (salary + commission) to help us bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Buffalo, NY, and the surrounding areas.
Position Overview The purpose of the Sales Account Executive position is to meet and exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. An Account Executive is expected to use professional sales techniques, build relationships, and develop long-term relationships that grow sales for Lamar Advertising.
This is not a remote position. 100% in the office.
What You Can Expect From Us
A Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm work schedule with paid holidays
First-year earning potential of $60,000 - $65,000 / year, dependent on relevant experience and qualifications

Candidate Requirements
Ability to cold call businesses over the phone and in person
Ability to make oral presentations and explain policies and procedures
Skill in communicating with diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
Working knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite on Surface Pros
Ability to adapt to new technology
Ability to explain the outdoor advertising business from installation to product standpoint
Skill in writing grammatically correct business correspondence
Ability to perform under fluctuating workloads
Skill in selling outdoor advertisements and establishing rapport
Ability to meet sales quotas and apply general sales techniques
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
College Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years media sales experience required
Outdoor advertising sales experience and CRM experience preferred
