Overview
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic advanced practice provider to join its critical care, trauma surgery, and general surgery team at Memorial Regional Hospital, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in South Broward County. The selected candidate will care for acute care surgery and trauma patients, partnering with an experienced team to assess and manage adult, adolescent, and pediatric trauma patients as well as adult and adolescent acute care surgery patients. Responsibilities
Provide critical care management of patients in the surgical ICU in a fast-paced environment. Perform operative and bedside procedures as required. Collaborate with the trauma, acute care, and critical care teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Engage in research activities; participation is strongly encouraged. Support schedule requirements that alternate between day and night shifts and include weekend coverage. Qualifications
Advanced Practice Providers with experience in critical care or surgery are advantageous. National Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Certification and a Pediatric Acute Care Certification or Physician Assistant Certification. BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ATLS from the American College of Surgeons. Florida license to be obtained by date of hire. Position Details
