Fire Alarm Lead Testing Technician
We are seeking a
Lead Fire & Life Safety Systems Technician
to oversee the successful execution of on-site testing projects. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and reliability of fire and life safety systems in commercial, healthcare, and high-rise facilities. What Youll Do
Review project documentation and develop effective testing plans. Lead your team in comprehensive testing of fire and life safety systems, including: Smoke, heat, and flame detectors Pull stations, sirens, horns, and strobes Water flow switches Speakers and emergency communication systems Elevator recall and fire doors Schedule
Hours will vary. Must be available for on-call, weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts as needed. Position Requirements
3+ years of fire life safety testing experience. Los Angeles Chiefs Regulation 4 Certificate of Fitness (one or more categories). High school diploma or equivalent. Valid California Drivers License and proof of auto insurance. Physical Demands & Work Environment
Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift. Walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak daily. Work in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying temperatures. Perform work at construction sites, commercial buildings, and high-rise facilities. Ascend/descend and work at heights above 6 ft., including extreme heights (occasionally). Move, transport, install, or remove items weighing 20+ pounds daily. Push/pull with upper extremities daily. Work in confined spaces occasionally. What We Offer
