Overview
Boys Swim and Dive Assistant Coach at Woodbury High School. Assignment Dates: November 24, 2025 - February 28, 2026. Compensation: Contract is based on Teacher's Contract Schedule C - 32 base points or $4,544 base contract rate. Woodbury High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as Boys Swim and Dive Assistant Coach. Candidates should have successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience, and related experiences in educational leadership. The candidate should be able to build a comprehensive program, develop staff, and manage diverse program-wide elements in alignment with the Woodbury High School mission and vision. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the Boys Swim and Dive program and the local community are required. Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior. Positive, high energy, and committed. Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc. Views success not just as winning, but as helping team members reach goals. Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching. A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required. Reports To
Head Varsity Sport coach and Woodbury High School Athletics/Activities Director, who provides overall job objectives and observes performance in conjunction with the High School Principal. Job Goals
To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Concurrently, student-athletes shall receive instruction that leads to the development of moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and confidence. Coach shall demonstrate substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and establish positive relationships with all stakeholders. How to Apply
