Overview
Boys Varsity Assistant Swimming Coach at Park High School — South Washington County Schools Park High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as Boys Swimming Varsity Assistant Coach. Candidates should have successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience and related leadership in education. The coach will help develop a comprehensive program, build staff, and manage program-wide elements in alignment with the Park High School Activities Department's mission and definition of success. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a commitment to positive relationships between the Boys Swimming program and the local community are essential. Responsibilities
Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training for individual and team success. Demonstrate substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport. Develop and mentor staff; foster positive relationships with stakeholders (parents, staff, community leaders). View success as more than winning; help team members reach personal and team goals. Engage in ongoing improvement and transformational coaching, including a transformational coaching purpose statement. Qualifications
Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior. Positive, high-energy, and committed attitude. Ability to collaborate with parents, staff, and community leaders. A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is preferred for assistant coaches and REQUIRED for head coaches. Contract and Compensation
Contract is based on Teacher's Contract Schedule C — 32 base points x $142 per point plus experience, total $4,544 base contract. Compensation details are governed by district policies. Application Process
