Role to lead the strategic growth and execution of onsite food service program across convenience store locations with a focus on sales, product pricing and mix, inventory and margin performance of the food and dispensed beverage categories. Responsible for overseeing new food service initiatives and establishing procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing food and dispensed beverage products. Maintain stock levels relative to inventory turns and GMROII. Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s food service strategy to expand and elevate prepared onsite offerings. Partner with executive leadership to define growth goals and performance metrics for food service. Oversee menu strategy, product mix, and innovation pipeline for fresh-prepared foods; evaluate consumer trends, competitive offerings, and vendor opportunities to keep food service relevant and differentiated. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to create scalable programs balancing quality, cost, and operational efficiency. Define food service standards, operating procedures, and training requirements for in-store execution. Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements across all locations. Partner with Operations and Training teams to drive consistency, quality, and speed of service. Oversee foodservice equipment strategy by selecting the right equipment solutions; ensure Operations teams are trained on proper use and maintenance; partner with Capital Development on investment strategies that maximize profitability. Own P&L responsibility for the food service category; drive sales growth, margin improvement, and profitability through menu engineering, pricing strategies, and vendor negotiations. Track performance through data analysis and KPI management, recommending adjustments as needed. Work closely with Marketing to build promotional campaigns and brand awareness around food service; liaise to Zone Managers, Field Merchandisers and Store Managers to implement concepts and promotions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School Diploma required 8-10 years of progressive experience in convenience retail food service, QSR, or related field Proven success leading food service growth strategies in a convenience retail or QSR environment Strong knowledge of onsite food prep operations, food safety standards, and QSR/restaurant best practices Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, category strategy, and vendor partnerships Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution Ability to apply sound business judgment in decision making Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management Ability to listen, influence and negotiate effectively; collaborate with others to achieve results Proficient computer skills including MS Office; self-motivated and able to work independently Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
