Seek Maintenance Tech with 4-5 years in a maintenance role with experience in automated packaging machines and conveyors, gear systems, sensors, electrical systems, welding, rebuilding pumps, reading electrical schematics, etc. At Ken’s Foods, we manufacture Ken’s Salad dressing & Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque sauce. To access all areas of the plant and grounds in order to accomplish assigned duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Actively pursue and correct problems with components and systems throughout the facility Thorough knowledge of automated packaging machinery operation, troubleshooting and repair Thorough knowledge of pump theory, operation and repair Thorough knowledge of pneumatic principles, application troubleshooting and repair Thorough knowledge of hydraulic principles, application troubleshooting and repair Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics Work safely with both low and high voltage circuits Diagnose electric motor, motor control and device control problems Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control and power circuits Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrically controlled equipment, including PLC controlled and solid state equipment Ability to weld (gas and arc) and solder Basic knowledge of facility and manufacturing support systems (steam, hot water, compressed air, refrigeration) Basic plumbing and carpentry skills Identify and order parts and materials from manuals and prints Communicate effectively in oral and written instructions Complete the Standard Timing Model mechanical test with a score of 60% or better Ensure compliance with corporate standards for food safety, quality and facility cleanliness Other duties as assigned Food Safety Responsibilities
Produce product free of contamination Follow Ken’s Foods Security and GMP policies Report any suspicious activities around the plant Inspect work area for potential contamination issues continuously Supervisory Responsibilities

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills:
Perform arithmetic operations and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability:
Solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various forms. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Massachusetts: Must possess or achieve within 6 months a Special to Operate Engineering License (Steam Plant). Physical and Mental Demands
Physical:
Frequently stand/walk; use hands; reach; lift up to 10 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally; vision requirements as described. Mental:
Maintain high safety awareness; cognitive function; respond to operating conditions; concentrate; manage emergency situations. Work Environment
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, chemicals, weather, and electrical hazards. Noise level is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made. Employment Details
