Responsibilities

Work with minimal supervision to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. Develop and promote a sales culture by creating individualized and complete solutions for every guest and providing outstanding guest service experiences. Ensure products are easy to see and buy, build sales by sharing product and gaming knowledge with guests, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and grow guest loyalty and repeat business. Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Respond to guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally; assist guests with meeting their video gaming needs; inform guests of promotions; advocate selling behaviors during every transaction. Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. Provide feedback to the Store Manager on associate performance and address issues as directed, ensuring alignment with guest service expectations. Ensure onboarding and training for new associates prior to opening or closing shifts; ensure familiarity with store policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Assist with scheduling to meet guest service goals; supervise staffing levels to maintain service quality. Approve payroll-related tasks and verify compensation for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per company guidelines; ensure equipment is in proper working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and complete daily logistics as required. Protect company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices. Support the team in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties. Conduct store inventory counts and restock merchandise as needed to keep products represented and organized on the sales floor. Count and reconcile daily transactions in the POS system; manage closeout paperwork and bank deposits per guidelines. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. Retail management experience preferred (at least 6 months). Retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred (at least 2 years). Video game knowledge preferred. Key Skills

Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Ability to provide genuine, individualized guest assistance. Clear communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work independently and in a team; meet performance expectations and work in a fast-paced environment. Operate POS system; basic math and organization skills; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs; basic safety and loss prevention awareness. Compensation

$15.16 - $19.16 per hour Employment type
