Overview
The Mulvane Police Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time police officer. The Mulvane Police Department takes pride in serving the community to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all to enjoy. Officers of the Mulvane Police Department enforce federal, state, and city laws. Monitor and enforce traffic laws, city ordinances, respond to calls for service, and other duties as assigned. Compensation & Schedule
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $22.59 Non-certified Certified applicants pay will be based on training, experience, and qualifications. SHIFT : 12 hour shifts 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am 84 hour pay period Qualifications
Applicants must be 21 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Kansas Driver’s License with good driving record. No Felony or serious Misdemeanor arrests. Pass a thorough background check. Pass an oral interview, physical, and psychological exam. KLETC certification and prior law enforcement experience preferred but not required at time of application.
