Location: Dubuque, IA | Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Divisional Merchandise Manager
Overview Responsible for managing and optimizing assigned product categories by developing strategies, analyzing market trends, and driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify category growth opportunities.
Develop and implement pricing, promotions, and assortment strategies.
Manage product lifecycle from introduction through discontinuation.
Negotiate supplier terms to maximize profitability and strengthen partnerships.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other teams to execute category plans.
Monitor category performance through data and reporting tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience preferred
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Work Environment
Office-based with occasional store and supplier visits; typical office physical and environmental conditions.
