Baby Bear Hugs This position is for a dedicated Parenting Educator who will work with families and children, providing guidance and support to promote healthy family dynamics. Responsibilities
Conduct individual meetings in client homes to provide education and connections to community resources to strengthen and empower families. Assist parents in developing effective parenting skills and strategies. Educate parents on physical and emotional child development. Implement curriculum-based programs that focus on raising children in a warm, trusting, and caring household. Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress made by families. Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent. One year of experience working with children and families (e.g., child care provider, parent, daycare worker, preschool educator). Knowledge of child development and willingness to learn about community resources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Writing and computer skills sufficient to communicate with staff and clients. Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation. This position can be combined with the Coordinator position in Kit Carson County for full-time employment. Job details
