21c Museum Hotels bridges contemporary art and hospitality through a boutique hotel, a chef‑driven restaurant, and a multi‑venue museum. The Lead Bartender plays a key role in curating an exceptional beverage program that enhances the guest experience. Job Description
Reports to the Beverage Manager or Director. The Lead Bartender assists in the curation, creation, and execution of the cocktail and spirits program with concentrated focus on the Lounge area and team. Responsibilities
Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain 21c service standards. Lead the lounge team in providing the highest quality food and beverage service. Engage guests and teammates to promote beverage program awareness, sales, and regular patron relationships. Screen, interview, and train lounge and bar team members. Assist in scheduling, training, and compliance for all bar team members. Maintain absolute adherence to property, state, and municipal alcohol policies and licensing requirements. Collaborate with F&B Management to develop content for social media, marketing materials, and specialty beverage events. Assist in the procurement, inventory, and monthly inventory management of alcoholic beverages. Support the Beverage Manager in maintaining cocktail and spirits lists, glassware, tools, and equipment. Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of craft cocktails and spirits. Proficiency with Windows‑based computers and Microsoft Office; familiarity with industry standard software. Demonstrated enthusiasm for all aspects of 21c operations. Must pass a background check. Education
Some college education. Experience
Two to four years in a high‑volume, high‑quality bar and/or restaurant operation. Minimum one year as a bartender. Additional Information
