Inside Sales Representative (Remote - Western Region)
role at Yelp. This remote position requires residency in the Western United States (Pacific, Mountain, and Arizona time zones). We are not considering candidates in the Bay Area. Yelp was created to connect people with great local businesses. As an Account Executive, you'll work directly with local businesses to help them meet their goals through Yelp’s advertising programs. You’ll work with small business owners by phone to tailor their needs and aspirations. We succeed when we find tailored solutions for our clients to grow their business.
What You'll Do
Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs through a high-volume outbound phone outreach to business owners. This role is 100% phone-based and fast-paced.
Operate on one of the following local-time schedules, or as determined by your manager: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; or 9:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Own and manage a pipeline of clients across industries (e.g., dentists, florists, restaurant owners) organized in our CRM (Salesforce).
Work from home on a set Monday to Friday schedule, selling advertising to small local businesses.
Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and provide product recommendations quickly to meet client needs by asking probing questions and addressing objections and rejection.
Master closing techniques to exceed individual goals.
Navigate the qualification-to-close process to ensure lasting customer satisfaction and potential upsell opportunities.
Surpass monthly quotas; demonstrate a strong work ethic and tenacity.
Track daily goals to ensure results are met.

What It Takes To Succeed
GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.
Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and no fear of the phone.
General computer and email proficiency; familiarity with Google Suite; experience with a Macbook laptop.
Ability to work in a distraction-free environment.
Open to feedback and willing to implement areas for improvement.
Strong, engaging interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently without oversight.
Must possess current US work authorization.
What You\'ll Get
Starting base salary of $37k per year.
Eligible to earn uncapped commission.
Average year 1 on-target annual compensation around $50k (base plus commission, assuming minimum performance).
Top performers can significantly exceed target earnings.
