Overview Yelp is hiring an Inside Sales Representative (Remote - Central or Eastern Region). This role operates remotely, but the candidate must reside in the Central or Eastern Region of the United States (including Central or Eastern Time Zones).

What You'll Do

Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs with business owners through high-volume outbound dialing. This role is 100% phone-based and fast-paced.

Follow one of the schedules in your local time: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; or 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; or as determined by your manager.

Own and manage a pipeline of clients ranging from dentists to florists to restaurant owners, all organized in the CRM (Salesforce).

Sell advertising to small local businesses from home on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and provide product recommendations quickly to suit client needs—ask probing questions and handle objections and rejection.

Master close techniques to exceed individual goals.

Navigate the qualification-to-close process to ensure customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.

Achieve and consistently exceed monthly quotas; maintain a strong work ethic and tenacity.

Track and manage daily goals to ensure results; this is a numbers-driven role.

Comfort with new tools and software such as Google Suite and Salesforce.

What It Takes To Succeed

GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree.

No fear of the phone and readiness to make a high volume of outbound dials daily.

General computer and email proficiency; familiarity with Google Suite and Salesforce; Mac laptop provided.

A distraction-free work environment.

Open to feedback and willing to implement areas for improvement.

Strong, engaging interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently without oversight.

Current US work authorization.

What You'll Get

The starting base salary for this role is $37k annually.

Eligible to earn uncapped commission.

Average Year 1 on-target earnings (base plus commission) around $50k, assuming minimum performance expectations are met.

Top performers have the opportunity to significantly exceed target earnings.
