Orion Solutions Group is working with a leading logistics Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider specializing in warehousing, port drayage, and truckload brokerage services. They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Manager - Enterprise Sales to join a dynamic team based in Savannah Georgia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role as an individual contributor in expanding our client’s business by developing and closing logistics solutions sales within the warehousing, brokerage, and port drayage areas.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Actively prospect and develop a strong pipeline of potential enterprise business opportunities within the warehousing, port drayage, and truckload brokerage sectors. Utilize a hunter mentality to identify and engage with new and existing potential customers, focusing on building relationships and generating profitable revenue growth.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and business contacts, particularly beneficial cargo owners (BCOs), to drive sales and foster long-term solutions-based partnerships. Understand customer needs, challenges, and goals to tailor logistics solutions that meet and exceed their expectations.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on acquiring new business and expanding our market presence. Present and demonstrate our logistics services, highlighting their value proposition and aligning them with customer needs.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, pricing, executive leadership, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions and exceptional customer satisfaction. Coordinate with the leadership team to align sales strategies with the company's overall business objectives and market trends.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market trends to assess performance and optimize sales strategies.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Proven track record of successful business development and closing sales in the logistics industry, specifically within warehousing, port drayage, and truckload brokerage. Strong existing network and relationships with beneficial cargo owners (BCOs). Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated with a hunter mentality, driven to achieve and exceed sales targets. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with logistics software and CRM systems. Willingness to travel as required.
