Account Manager, SMB - AMER at Remote. This role focuses on managing the sales cycle for small and mid-sized business customers in the AMER region. What This Job Can Offer You
The opportunity to manage the entire sales cycle, from retaining existing customer investment and identifying new expansion opportunities to executing upsell and cross-sell strategies. Present Remote’s suite of services to existing customers, creating pathways for upselling solutions and ensuring the completion of the business cycle. Own and nurture customer relationships, stay in frequent contact, and build strategic partnerships. Design solutions tailored to the unique communication needs of SMBs. Take charge of customer retention initiatives, participate in strategic events, and lead discussions to deepen relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and business growth. What You Bring
Demonstrated ability in retaining and growing existing accounts, driving expansion bookings as well as upselling/cross-selling opportunities within customer accounts Ability to build key customer relationships across different levels of personas, including key decision makers, champions and C-level stakeholders Proactive communication with key customer contacts to understand needs, create a strategic roadmap, and solicit feedback on products and services Ability to create and execute sales motions and tactics to grow revenue per account Proactive client strategy development to achieve goals Experience in pipeline development, forecasting, and reporting Strong knowledge of sales processes Ability to learn complex product solutions and continuously develop new skills Understanding of Remote’s services and market position 5+ years of Account Management experience or related SaaS sales experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills; business fluency in English Highly self-motivated with ambition to close deals; able to work independently or as part of a team Resilience, integrity, and strong work ethic; able to perform under pressure Efficient multitasking, prioritization, and time management Customer-obsessed with a clear desire to be in a customer-facing role Key Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales quota based on role level and manage the entire sales cycle for a book of business Identify expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities and drive the sales process Present Remote’s services to existing customers and upsell solutions Own the customer relationship and manage the cycle from sale to completion Maintain frequent contact with customers and build strategic, partnership-based relationships Understand SMB communication needs and design solutions to meet those needs Generate customer retention initiatives and participate in strategic events Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success Practicals

Remote’s total rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fair equity pay along with competitive benefits. We pay above in-location rates and hire globally with geo-based pay differentials. Base pay is determined by role, level, location, and market demands. The On-Target Earnings range for this position is between $63,950 and $179,850. The base salary is 60% of OTE. Compensation for internal moves is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Application process
