Sales Development Specialist - Chromatography West US

Sartorius is seeking a Sales Development Specialist to promote the chromatography portfolio of products and forge powerful client relationships. In this pivotal role, you will introduce defined strategic products, cultivate strong partnerships, and drive adoption through strong technical knowledge across the Western territory. With a clear focus on (early) seeding activities the goal is to successfully implement products into the market to achieve Sartorius group sales target.
Territory: Western, US (CA, WA, OR, CO, NM, ID)
What you will accomplish together with us
Initiate and manage the full sales process (from lead generation to after sales, collaborate with FAS for trials, testing and confirmation) within the assigned territory and strategic product range, in close alignment with the Account Managers Maintain the CRM with relevant and up to date customer and sales opportunity information Develop and achieve product / product group targets with a clear focus on seeding and spec in activities to drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities at customer site Provide technical and commercial support to Account Managers and customers in relevant products and processes Manage short-, mid- and long-term opportunity funnel and account portfolio to support short- and long-term product goals and navigate Customer's need to achieve a successful resolution Identify, implement, and execute appropriate action plans to develop the business for Chromatography products according to the Sales and Sartorius strategy What will convince us
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering with 3+ years field sales or technical sales support experience or Associates degree with 5+ years field sales or technical sales support experience. Preferable in a laboratory environment /process-based experience in Life Science. Technical experience and industry knowledge in Chromatography equipment and consumables. Experience in selling capital instrumentation and / or selling consumables / reagents to clients in different sectors is a plus Experience working with Salesforce is a plus Result-oriented and highly motivated Capable of providing outstanding customer service Ability to manage complex issues using collaboration and processes Excellent communication, presentation & collaboration skills Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment Travel
