Job Summary
Our company is experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in Plano, TX. Our ideal sales manager has a proven track record of achieving and exceeding company metrics and KPIs, proficient computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, great judgment skills and excellent attendance and time‑management skills. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high‑performance sales force.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the home warranty industry. Set clear and achievable sales targets for individual team members and monitor performance against these targets. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance the sales skills and knowledge of team members. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies. Analyze sales data and market trends to accurately forecast future sales volumes and make informed business decisions. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Address any challenges or issues in the sales process promptly and effectively, finding creative solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve sales goals. Manage the sales department budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales team.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales management within a call center environment, preferably within the home warranty or insurance industry. Strong leadership and team‑building skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Results‑driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Attendance/Schedule Requirements
Office Monday‑Friday with flexibility to work evenings and scheduled weekends.
