Our client is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to establish and enforce the core sales operating rhythm across its portfolio. This is a hands-on, process-first role focused on CRM discipline, pipeline hygiene, field adoption, and repeatable deal management. The Sales Operations Manager will partner closely with general managers and sales leaders to implement simple, high-leverage processes that improve win rates and forecasting accuracy. Advanced analytics and board-level reporting are supported by senior leadership; the immediate priority is ensuring clean data inputs and consistent execution. What You’ll Do
Build the sales operating system:
Define and roll out common pipeline stages, opportunity definitions, close dates, and data standards in the CRM, ensuring consistent usage across businesses. Own pipeline hygiene and cadence:
Run or enable weekly pipeline and monthly business reviews. Coach teams to qualify effectively, progress active deals, and proactively close-lost stale opportunities. Enable disciplined selling:
Develop lightweight tools that improve execution, such as qualification checklists, call plans, and simple process guides. Coordinate with marketing on collateral and reference materials. Standardize portfolio practices:
Implement a “one source of truth” model across acquired businesses. Lead change management to align local teams with shared processes. Coach and influence:
Facilitate working sessions with sales teams and managers, strengthening accountability and embedding best practices without unnecessary complexity. Support integrations:
For newly acquired businesses, assess current workflows, align with client standards, and establish the sales cadence and CRM basics within the first 30–60 days. Partner on reporting:
Ensure clean, reliable inputs that feed leadership dashboards; collaborate with the CCO on core queries and metrics when needed. Qualifications
Background in B2B sales operations or consulting Proven track record of building processes and driving CRM adoption across multi-site or decentralized teams High influence and credibility with account-based sellers and general managers; effective at driving behavior change and accountability Strong judgment in evaluating deal quality and pipeline discipline for long and variable sales cycles (from ~45 days to multi-quarter enterprise cycles) Practical enablement mindset that prioritizes simple, usable tools over heavy playbooks Experience in high-growth sales environments Excellent communication and facilitation skills Exposure to territory or account ownership design and resolving coverage conflicts Familiarity with capital budgeting conversations, including light ROI framing and proposal checklists Comfort with call recording/transcription workflows and identifying selling patterns, even without formal tooling Seniority level
