Overview
The Senior Specialist, Community & Associate Experience plays a vital role in shaping a positive and engaging culture across retail locations and the corporate office. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to drive initiatives that support associate well-being, volunteerism, and corporate social responsibility.
Responsibilities
Support the operations of Build-A-Bear Foundation
Achieve goals and tasks set forth by the Board of Directors
Manage Hearts & Hugs Fund – select donation recipients, ensure timely deliveries, and achieve donation goal numbers
Communicate marketing of Build-A-Bear Foundation and other cause marketing programs
Create associate experience events
Execute rewards and recognition programs across the organization
Facilitate onboarding program for corporate associates
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2-4 years experience in non-profit or events
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams & SharePoint
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree - Human Resources or Communications
Experience in development or fundraising at a non-profit organization

Working Environment
Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs
Hybrid work schedule
Lifting > 10 lbs.
