EY's National Tax and EY EDGE practices provide tax technical services to US and global clients. The Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) practice helps clients manage global bookkeeping and finance compliance obligations across 150+ countries, focusing on quality service and process improvement within global finance functions. Responsibilities
Analyze issues in the preparation of statutory reporting, including GAAP to GAAP adjustments and roll-forwards in statutory financial statements; validate accuracy and completeness of statutory financial statements. Apply technical accounting knowledge to analyze account balances, reconciliations and other financial matters during monthly, quarterly, or annual close; ensure accuracy and timeliness of close. Follow up on deliverables, identify blockers, and collaborate with teams to mitigate risk of late filing and other compliance tasks. Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, visibility, efficiency and client experience; assess current processes and opportunities to eliminate manual journal entries or automate via technology. Apply judgement to resolve accounting or process issues and escalate as needed to management for timely resolution. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3–4 years of relevant experience. CPA license or progress toward certification; other relevant certifications or bar membership as applicable. Knowledge of global statutory reporting and bookkeeping; experience across multiple countries preferred. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving and attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to prioritize and clarify priorities. Willingness to travel 20–30% to client locations. Client-facing exposure in a global role is a plus. Ability to package analysis into presentations for internal leaders and clients; able to present statutory reporting calendars and status updates. What we offer
