commitment to people and planet Supporting Meaningful Work – work brings deeper motivation, purpose and fulfillment to our lives As a Compensation Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting Steelcase’s global compensation programs. Key responsibilities include: Salary Survey Management
– Own all salary survey contracts, complete submissions, and maintain updates to the compensation survey library. Compensation Data Maintenance
– Update and validate compensation ranges and master lists annually to ensure accuracy and compliance. System Support & Training Materials
– Assist in creating and maintaining training documentation for new compensation systems. Data Validation
– Conduct data validations for the global employee population to support accurate compensation decisions. Bring-to-Minimum Process
– Manage the process for employees below minimum compensation thresholds, including outreach to HR VPs and HRBPs. Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Act as a liaison between regions during large-scale compensation changes, such as global operations updates. Support Executive Compensation
– Participate in executive compensation activities during year-end and proxy cycles as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required 1–2 years in an HR-related role, with exposure to compensation preferred Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and functions like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail Self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently Eagerness to learn and grow within the compensation field Desired Skills and Experience Familiarity with compensation processes and global team collaboration Ability to create and deliver training materials for HR systems Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, self-directed approach to problem-solving Doing better for people and planet - when we do better, we help the world work better Steelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
