Overview
The Deal Processing accounting clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of vehicle sales transactions. This position supports the sales and finance teams by managing deal documentation, verifying compliance, and facilitating timely funding and reporting. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $18 and $22/hr. depending on experience. Base pay range
$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr Responsibilities
Review and process all vehicle sales deals for completeness and accuracy. Ensure all required documents are signed, scanned, and submitted according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines. Verify pricing, rebates, incentives, and finance terms are correctly applied. Collaborate with sales managers, finance managers, and accounting to resolve discrepancies. Submit deals to lenders and monitor funding status. Maintain deal logs and update CRM systems with deal status. Prepare and file paperwork for DMV, title, and registration processing. Assist with auditing deals for compliance and internal controls. Support month-end closing activities and reporting. Qualifications
Prior experience in automotive dealership operations or finance office preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
