Summary Assistant Conversion Operators are responsible for maintaining quality of material being produced through continual adjustments of gauges that control machine speed. They are responsible for safety, quality control checks, and troubleshooting, while assisting the lead Operator in running the line. Assistant Operators aid the lead Operator in optimizing the machinery for the best production rate and scrap output.
Shift: 1st
Pay Rate: $19.00
Responsibilities
Aid the lead Operator in optimizing the machinery and troubleshooting
Completing preventive maintenance
General housekeeping of the area
Wears required PPE
Strict attention to Sealed Air Safety Program
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of work experience in manufacturing environment a plus
Team oriented
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
Ability and willingness to work overtime with little or no notice
Strong safety & attendance record
Education Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of up to 4 hours at a time
