Sciens Building Solutions . LS Systems, Inc., a Division of Sciens Building Solutions, seeks a Controller who will have primary day-to-day responsibilities for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and operational reporting. The Controller is a strategic leadership role reporting to the platform company CFO with dotted line reporting to the Division president. The Controller partners with the leadership team to develop and execute short-term and long-term strategy and to positively impact the company culture, as well as relationships with customers, suppliers and key third parties. What You’ll Be Doing And Doing Well

Partner with the CFO to develop and implement goals, policies, priorities, financial strategy, linked metrics, and procedures related to financial and operational management, including budgeting and accounting. Establish sound internal financial controls and develop procedures to continuously improve control environments. Lead preparation of ongoing financial statements and operating reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Review financial statements and operating reports with stakeholders, including gap analysis and recommendations to improve performance. Oversee timely and accurate processing of transactions and accounting data; ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all financial functions. Oversee compliance with applicable DOL, IRS, 401(k), and medical regulations. Oversee DCAA and other compliance requirements for publicly-funded projects, as applicable. Coordinate with the CPA firm for external audit materials, GAAP reporting, and tax compliance and reporting. Manage the annual audit and auditor relations. Own and deliver monthly reporting package to the platform CFO and prepare a monthly business review package. Prepare and analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports of key financial and operational metric trends. Strategize to enhance cash flow and working capital positions. Assess organizational performance against budgets with functional leaders and management. Manage banking and bonding requirements; lead ERP system deployment and operation. Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety initiatives. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required; MBA preferred. 5–10 years of experience as a Controller. Strong cost accounting skills, including standard costing and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition. Solid inventory management skills. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proactive business partnering abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication; professional presentation in meetings. Ability to adapt to change, manage multiple priorities, and work with energy and urgency. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; commitment to quality and follow-through. Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight, as necessary. Ethics: integrity, respect, and adherence to organizational core values. What We’re Bringing To The Table
