Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track editorial projects from start to finish to ensure smooth workflow
Serve as the primary liaison with content vendors, including contacting sources, tracking assignments, and following up as needed
Facilitate communication between stakeholders including doctors, writers, editors, and marketing counterparts
Source and organize assets such as stock photos; interface with writers and photographers when needed
Assist editors with web production, including uploading assets and posting stories in the CMS
Produce and post content within a CMS, including text and static images
Plan and position stories for various online audiences, including writing SEO- and social media‑optimized headlines
Act as quality control for all online content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
Support marketing campaigns by coordinating content requests and ensuring interviews and stories are completed on schedule
Monitor editorial calendars and maintain production timelines
Participate in the review and approval process for all content
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in editorial coordination, content production, or digital publishing
Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities
Self‑starter with excellent organizational and communication abilities
Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, Workfront, or similar project tracking platforms
Experience working in a CMS and basic web publishing
Ability to write and edit headlines for SEO and social media engagement
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
