The Financial Analyst, FP&A at Javara is responsible for providing strategic and analytical financial support through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, data analytics and process maintenance. This role reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Financial Planning.

Responsibilities

Run monthly reporting packages and manage the financial data loads for revenue forecasting.

Perform detailed financial analysis including trend identification, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.

Support executive-level and external stakeholder reporting including HCP partners and PIs.

Assist in the development of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.

Conduct scenario planning and variance analysis to support strategic financial decisions.

Provide insights into revenue and gross margin performance.

Collaborate with teams such as Operations and Business Development to understand key business drivers.

Deliver actionable financial insights that support growth initiatives and operational improvements.

Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting tools.

Maintain and update SOPs for the commercial finance team to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Develop dynamic, real-time reports to address emerging business needs.

Support audits and troubleshoot financial reporting issues, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications Required:

1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.

Experience in clinical research, healthcare, or life sciences industry.

Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications and financial systems/tools.
