Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries toward powering prosperity. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role using video communication software; you will document interactions to maintain accurate records. Who You Are
Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws; active PTIN. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written and spoken). Passionate about helping clients navigate taxation; committed to delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes. Excellent customer service skills; comfortable interacting with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, confident manner. What You Need
Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a pay-for-performance approach. The typical base pay ranges by location include, for example: Bay Area California $28.80-$36.50; Southern California $28.80-$36.50; Colorado $27.50-$34.80; Hawaii $28.80-$36.50; Illinois $27.50-$34.80; Maryland $27.50-$34.80; Massachusetts $28.80-$36.50; Minnesota $24.80-$30.30; New Jersey $28.80-$36.50; New York $28.80-$36.50; Ohio $24.80-$30.30; Vermont $27.50-$34.80; Washington $28.80-$36.50; Washington DC $28.80-$36.50.
