Staff Accountant | $80k

Position: Staff Accountant We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of accounting experience who excels in a fast-paced corporate setting and is excited about making a real impact. The ideal candidate will bring strong Excel skills, experience with ERP systems, and a focus on driving process improvements. In this role, you will be essential in supporting key financial operations, from month-end close to financial reporting, while ensuring adherence to SOX 404 and other accounting regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct precise balance sheet reconciliations and post journal entries Assist in the month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX 404 guidelines Partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors to support audit processes Lead or participate in process enhancement projects, particularly automating financial reporting Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA-track is a plus) 1-2 years of professional accounting experience Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems This role offers an exciting chance to join a company on the rise, with a culture that values its people and fosters professional growth.
