STAFF ACCOUNTANT - MORGANTON
As a Staff Accountant in our Tax Department, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement in our growing firm.

Responsibilities:
Income tax preparation for individuals and businesses
General ledger and financial statement preparation
Payroll and bookkeeping services for small and large companies
Account and bank reconciliations and depreciation schedule preparation
Monthly and year-end closing assistance
QuickBooks consulting and assistance with accounting system design
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tax return preparation for individuals and businesses
Knowledge of Prosystems fx Tax & Engagement, QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), EasyAcct software
CPA or CPA candidate
2-3 years of accounting experience

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
