Overview
A well-respected CPA in the area is looking to add a Staff Tax Accountant to join their team and be part of their family-oriented culture. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are motivated, detail-oriented, and have expertise in full-charge bookkeeping, Quickbooks, Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), and CCH prosystems FX.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
Review and analysis of client general ledger data and financial information
QuickBooks data entry, reconciliation, adjustments, and financial statements
Payroll processing and preparation of applicable forms and reports
Monthly, Quarter, and annual tax deposits and compliance reporting
Income Tax Prep for Individuals, partnerships, and corporations
Work one-on-one with clients while providing tax and accounting support
Assist with other projects as needed
Essential job functions
Ensure accurate and timely tax returns to clients
Maintain a current knowledge of tax laws
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results
Tax preparation and full-charge bookkeeping related to client needs
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organization and project management skills
Expertise in full-charge bookkeeping and or accounting software
Attention to detail, responsible, motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to multitask
CPA or CPA candidate
