Are you seeking an opportunity to join a nationally recognized Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance organization? Randstad is seeking service-oriented professionals to join our insurance industry client, headquartered in Worcester, MA. This position is a contract / temp to perm opportunity in a highly collaborative environment that fosters employee growth. The location is flexible including one of the Hanover offices, hybrid, or remote (work from home). Job summary: As a member of the Customer Service Center team, you will work with independent insurance agents and their customers to create an outstanding service experience. You will participate in a comprehensive training program to prepare you for success, learn the client’s service philosophy, and receive system and skills training that positions you for career growth within the Personal Lines organization. This role provides consultative service to customers while educating and offering personal lines P&C products to ensure the customer’s insurance protection. Candidates MUST have an active Property and Casualty license or PL (Personal Lines) Producer License and the ability to handle multiple tasks, resolve escalated inquiries, process policy and billing changes, and communicate underwriting guidelines to agents and insureds.

What you'll be doing

Handle calls and take appropriate action with minimal assistance from other team members or departments. Counsel, educate, and provide accurate insurance advice; relay information and make decisions regarding coverages and rates using established underwriting guidelines for multiple states. Interpret and verify coverages and data. Use established guidelines to respond to inquiries with timeliness, quality, and effectiveness. Recommend and secure additional or increased coverage within specified carrier guidelines. Provide quotes as required. Conduct full account reviews and advocacy discussions on all calls to ensure customer protection; connect to Sales for final binding on additional lines of business. Review incoming written correspondence, request details as needed, and draft written communications in response to service requests. Process policy changes and policy issuance online, manage billing changes with minimal assistance, and follow through on all billing adjustments to achieve customer satisfaction. Work hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–9:30 PM ET and Saturday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. Schedule includes rotating Saturday coverage. What you need to have

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in a Personal Lines and/or P&C role Property & Casualty License or PL Producer License For remote work, hardwired Ethernet connectivity of 10 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download Strong customer service skills and behaviors Experience offering and closing on needs-based coverage and lines of business Ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external customers Flexibility, problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset Positive attitude, patience, and effective communication Timely, informed decision-making and strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence and persuade Critical thinking with timely problem-solving and adaptability to changing priorities Team-oriented with collaborative mindset Proficiency with virtual technology and troubleshooting (e.g., Avaya, NICE, POS systems) Ability to work under minimal supervision Job function
