Accounts Payable Analyst I

Supports Management in the monitoring and safeguarding of company assets, achieved through analyzing and reconciling payable transactions. Effectively communicates with internal and external customers, while successfully maintaining a high level of customer service. Duties are performed under direct supervision. This position reports directly to Accounting Supervisor. Responsibilities

Ensure timely disbursement of funds per Accounting protocol Reconcile Market statements/invoices to transactions in Accounting System Respond promptly to billing inquiries Identify accounting discrepancies within the accounting sub-ledger and work with Senior Analyst and Supervisor to provide resolution Process adjustments and write-offs within Analyst authorized threshold Escalate Aged accounts and reconciling items according to protocol Monitor premium Audits and escalate items according to protocol Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree- (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete work within scheduled deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
