Overview Orchard Heights is seeking a Full-time Prep Assistant to join our exceptional Culinary team. This role provides assistance to the Chefs with the preparation of residents' daily meals. We are looking for an individual with attention to detail to help us provide meals that reflect exemplary restaurant quality and are nutritionally balanced and attractively served. Our goal is to provide the best food and service to our residents, therefore, satisfying their needs, anticipating their wants, and honoring their requests is our specialty.
Responsibilities
Assist in cooking a variety of foods in large quantities.
Support awareness of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times, and temperature controls.
Estimate quantities of food required, utilize leftovers where appropriate, and help serve attractive, appetizing meals while limiting waste.
Requirements
A positive, service-oriented demeanor with a ready smile.
GED or High School Diploma.
Ability and willingness to provide exceptional communication and customer service.
