Position Summary Join Our Talented Finance Team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator! Babcock Power APAC Pvt. Ltd. designs and fabricates high quality Pressure Vessels and Heat Transfer Equipment for the power generation and process industries worldwide. The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all non-payroll disbursements, which includes vendor invoices, employee travel advances, travel reimbursements, and other miscellaneous payments and reimbursements.
Essential Responsibilities
Review, audit and enter weekly expense reports while ensuring the company travel policy is being followed.
Process weekly check-runs / disbursements.
Perform Bank Reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate entries to the GL.
Perform AP related accruals and other month-end related journal entries.
Interact and assist internal and external customers with inquiries, problem resolution, training and other informational requests.
Expedite special payment requests and follow-through on vendor issues.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.), discipline in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred but not required.
1-3 years of experience in accounts payable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize the department’s deadlines.
Experience with Costpoint ERP and Lotus Notes a plus.
Experience with MS Office.
Mathematical aptitude.
10-Key by touch.
