Professional Search Recruiter - Finance and Accounting Andrews & Cole is currently partnering with a commercial real estate company in New York, New York, on a full-time (hybrid), direct-hire Sr. Accounting Manager - Corporate Real Estate & Hospitality Assets role.
Join a fast-paced, asset-driven organization where your financial expertise will directly influence strategic decisions across a high-performing real estate portfolio. We’re seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead core corporate finance operations, with a focus on hospitality investments and real estate-backed entities. This role provides exposure to complex capital structures, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and enables high-impact reporting.
What You’ll Be Driving
Oversee the monthly close cycle, partnering with senior team members to ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial data across entities
Validate and post key journal entries, including intercompany activity, accruals, and investment-level adjustments
Maintain and reconcile corporate balance sheets, ensuring integrity across asset classes and business units
Manage fixed asset schedules, including roll-forwards and depreciation tracking for real estate holdings
Review property-level financials, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting across the portfolio
Serve as the primary corporate contact for property-level finance leads, aligning operational insights with broader financial strategy
Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, both consolidated and entity-specific, for audit, tax, and investor reporting
Coordinate with external audit teams, managing deliverables across multiple entities and jurisdictions
Lead cash flow forecasting, analyzing current and projected liquidity across the portfolio to support capital planning
Monitor banking activity, ensuring timely funding and distribution of cash across entities
Evaluate property-level cash reserves, recommending strategic transfers to optimize asset utilization
Manage corporate disbursements, including tax obligations and recurring payments tied to real estate operations
Oversee debt servicing and compliance, including:
Timely recalculation and execution of loan payments
Maintenance of lender reporting calendars
Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to meet covenant deadlines
Proactive visibility into loan terms impacting financial strategy
Deliver internal performance reporting, including monthly metrics and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
Support strategic initiatives, including financial modeling, capital projects, and cross-functional planning
Your Background
Proven experience as a Director or Senior Manager of Finance, ideally overseeing multiple real estate or hospitality assets
Strong command of corporate accounting principles, with exposure to debt structures and compliance frameworks
5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
Advanced credentials such as CPA or MBA highly preferred
Expert-level proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, VBA)
Analytical mindset with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for optimizing financial performance
