A rapidly expanding and fully sustainable mid-sized CPG company in Los Angeles is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with month-end close, AR, AP, cash, and reconciliations. To be successful in this role, the Staff Accountant should be detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and be organized.
Requirements for this Staff Accountant role:
2–3 years of accounting experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Advanced Excel Responsibilities in this Staff Accountant role:
Support the month-end close process Oversee day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Manage aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances with customers and vendors Perform timely and accurate reconciliations for bank accounts, AR, and AP Assist with year-end 1099 preparation Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts Contribute to ad hoc projects, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives as needed What’s in this Staff Accountant role for you:
