Role overview

Commercial Strategy Senior Analyst LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is a global financial markets infrastructure and data business. The role supports the development and implementation of new pricing and commercial strategies to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the Head of Commercial Strategy and collaborate across Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering and Marketing to contribute to a commercial transformation and to inform commercial decision making. This role suits a commercially minded individual with strong problem-solving capabilities and an interest in financial markets, data and passive investing.

Role summary

Support the development and refinement of new pricing and monetization strategies across FTSE Russell’s product and service offerings.

Support sales and the wider business on customer-specific pricing problems and exceptions.

Contribute to a culture of commercial excellence by helping to assess the revenue and operational impact of new pricing models and packaging strategies.

What you’ll be doing

Develop product- and segment-price guidance across the Benchmarks & Indices (B&I) products suite.

Contribute to product-packaging redesign.

Contribute to the design of pricing tests and experimentation.

Conduct quantitative analysis and qualitative research to inform recommendations.

Assist with the operational aspects of pricing implementation, such as billing logic and ongoing performance tracking.

Monitor pricing effectiveness through reporting and dashboards, identifying areas for improvement.

Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor strategies to inform commercial planning.

What you’ll bring

An inquisitive, analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.

Ability to collaborate across teams and synthesize input from diverse stakeholders.

Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.

Interest or experience in pricing and packaging strategies, ideally within subscription or financial data environments.

Strong data and quantitative analysis skills, including Excel and/or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Awareness of trends in financial services, especially related to market data, indices, or passive investment products.

Financial services or index experience highly desirable.

Compensation and benefits

Compensation/Benefits Information:

The anticipated base salary for this position is $86,100 - $143,500. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to base salary, role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Target AIP rates are commensurate with role level and experience. LSEG benefits typically include wellness, vacation, medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with company match, life and disability benefits, dependent care support, and other programs.
