HR Assistant
for a
temp-to-hire
opportunity with a well-established organization in Long Beach. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who recently completed HR coursework or has 1–2 years of HR experience. Key Responsibilities: Scan and digitize paper HR files into our electronic filing system. Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in employees and visitors. Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document organization. Support the HR team with basic tasks and learn the Leave of Absence (LOA) process over time. Ideal Candidate: Recently completed a degree or certification in Human Resources or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role preferred. Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as scanning and filing. Friendly, professional, and able to provide excellent front-desk support. Eager to learn and grow within the HR field. Seniority level
